The Preferences Page of the Software

The preferences layout is your 'Entry Point" here is where you enter the information and logo of your dive center. And this is also the page where you add your staff, their salary, the diving course prices, the fun dive prices, the resort partners and other valuable information.

At the top right corner (1) you may enter a password to have access to this 'steering wheel' of the software. All major adjustments in the software are made on this point. Beware; entering a password for the preferences means, you are the only person knowing this password. We strongly recommend to write the password down and store it on a safe place, away from your computer.

The three fields on top (2) are for your physical, billing and delivery address. If they are the same, you just enter the in formation one time and use the arrow to copy the information into the next field. The address field below (3) is used for printable addresses and is editable separately to fit each country's needs

In the mid-section of the page(4) you see a list of your staff. By clicking on the field you will be directed to the particular staff where you can enter or edit all details, so as personal data, wages and provisions. You can also add a password and username for DiveShopManger to a staff member, if you want the person to have access to the database. Note: A given password on the staff page does not give access to the software preferences.

At the lower left side (5) you can enter two kinds of logo to give the software your own branding. The logo will appear in wages, invoices and orders. If you don't have a logo at hand you can enter your Company Name at the bottom field instead and change it to a logo later on.

At the right side of the bottom section (6) is the space for your company's banking information in case you need to enter it for your orders or invoices.

Near the top right corner (7) you can see a little question hook. Clicking on the symbol in any module will open a dialog help field for the particular page.

At the very top, the 'DIVE SHOP' button (8) will bring you back to the main menu from any module. The navigation tabs (9) will bring you to the further settings, such as course prices, fun dive prices, partners, rentals and in the last case to organize the wages for your staff. On the top shelf (10) we have all the value lists stored that are used in the software. Clicking on a button will give you access to edit those lists freely to fit them to your dive center's needs.
